We're starting to run out of things to do, today was fitting the drivers side exhaust working with the cat converter….finally ended up shaving the spacer down at an angle to get the parallel look to the body, so we packed her up to get her ready for the final fitment of doors, trunk, and hood by the body/paint guy (Mike)….probably won't see her till Thursday or Friday……
Finally got the carpet done today……trans console came out really nice, plan on framing the edges with black powder coat…
Was hoping to have the navigation console installed with the stereo playing by days end; didn't happen
Oh well, as they say "tomorrow is another day"…. actually I won't get back to it till Monday….. still waiting for 2 gauges from speed hut…they sure take a long time….Mike thinks engine start by Tuesday
Got a picture from the body guy, looks like he's really close to painting her….
Tried to finish up the wiring; had some hiccups but resolved them after a bit of troubleshooting;….by days end we had our first start!….not sure how to upload the video since its not a photo from photo bucket…. any help would be appreciated…..
looking good! For videos I just ended up posting them on youtube and copying a link to post here. That seemed to be the easiest way I could come up with to do it.

Big day yesterday! Trailer finally arrived…. its set up for both my roadster and my HD……
Things are slowing down now since everything is almost done; just finishing up some of the wiring and testing all of the functions…so far other than a faulty relay things are going well…. body goes in this weekend for paint!
Been following your build, how is it going?
two questions...
1. What is the Grey felt like stuff in your trunk floor, looks nice.
2. How long did it take you to fit the windshield and the mounting posts? That's next on my list.

The felt is lined with insulation to act as a heat barrier and sound proof, not sure of the name of the product but I'll ask Mike ….the windshield took about an hour of getting it place, having the right angle to it, and then tightening the bolts down….. hope this helps….Rick
Mcwho. Here is the product I used to line the trunk.

Isn't it a little ironic. Working for Department Of Defence in "counter drug and air defence".... And now you're flying along like the rest of us, addicted to the build. Wait till it's complete. You'll be addicted to the driving experience.
Nice job.
