BluePrint Engines 427 EFI with Holley Sniper Now avail!!!!
You guys asked for it! so here it is!
Many FFR builders want to keep the pushrod V8 under the hood, and also proudly display those 427 badges! Our EFI 427 adds modern fuel injection to an old school brute! Wanted to pass this on to you guys!!

Yes we tend to undershoot and leave people pleasantly surprised. the "regular" 427 at its 485 has proven to be a very easy number to hit. The "HO" versions 1 and 2 are plenty for whoever wants them!
It is important to remember we do focus on streetability to make sure these cars can be driven also, and on pump gas.

Drivability is key and Ford is known for making great numbers and having great vacuum. For example I am using a 224/232 cam and have 13" of vacuum. This engine I built has the 11r heads from trick flow. It essentially shortens the intake runner and moves the valves closer to the intake. This requires custom pistons vs the stock ford stuff but it was an easy swap when building a motor. Not only does it have a great idle and vacuum but I also was able to add 11.5:1 compression in my 347 to squeek out 475 (at 5900 rpm) very street gas friendly horsepowers. I was able to acheieve this with a proper cam and keeping cranking psi at 180 pis. I could have made over 500 hp on this block with just more cam but I wanted the pure pull of a mid range cam and the longevity of a 6000 rpm redline.
Apply that to your 427 blocks and cavernous head design, you could run less cam and still make big happy horsepower for the street and racing. I see that you guys seem to have done that here with the new 427 engines. I love engine building and admire what you all do.

You guys nailed that sweet spot. Customers, I am sure, are all too often craving the ragged edge; however, you guys have found the value in the power available with current technology. The business ethic, work ethic, and business model is astounding in today's market. It cant be easy to build engines quickly, reliably, and for little money but you all have certainly found the balance. I would recommend you guys to anyone looking for an engine for their project.
