Thanks Shawn, I only cranked in over and let it run for a brief moment in my driveway when I got it home. I do plan to do a full rebuild of all the components I'll be using. Fortunately for me, I have a friend who is a sub tech.

Finished the disassembly of the donor

42 hours, working by myself and the donor is stripped. Now for the parts cleaning part, ugh.

yep, this all looks very, very familiar...

so it runs? sometimes subarus will jump timing in front end collisions.

    When does the kit arrive?

Last I contacted FFR, they were taking orders for 4-6 weeks out. I will place the order this week. Then I have a bit of work to do on my trailer. I plan to ride up and pick up the kit myself. I'd love to see the facility. Is your car done?

Not even close to being done, little time and family have taken priority. taking a look around FFR is definitely worth the trip!

This is going to be a very long two weeks. Doing as many house chores as I can before I pick up my kit. Everybody knows that once it is here Dad will be moving into the garage.

Spent most of the day in the garage. Got the chassis moved in, unpacked and all of the body and Subie parts stored away. Ready to begin this build.

Well progress has been limited to the underbelly aluminum and I've ran into my 1st issue. The "OEM pedal box front plate" I didn't see that anywhere in the disassembly instructions and apparently didn't keep it. Hopefully someone has an answer other than, find one in a junkyard.

I was confused by that at first too. What they mean by OEM is that the plate is to attach the pedals from the donor as opposed to the wilwood pedal box which must come with its own mount. The plate is supplied with the kit. Mine was in box 8C. Assuming they box all the kits the same.

I was having the same trouble as many others, replaced front C/V joint/axle shafts, on my donor. Mine happened to be NAPA axles. I spent quite some time with my BFH (Big $%&#@!* Hammer) working on one of them. I believe I found an easier way.

If the BFH doesn’t work the blue wrench will do the trick every time

So on chemo days they give me steroids as well. I know this and usually take a sleeping pill that night, knowing that I won't be able to sleep. So what happens when I don't take said sleeping pill? I get a lot of work done on the car, 11:30 PM. till 6:00 AM. in the garage. Got the accelerator pedal bracket holes drilled, steering column in, learned that the holes should be drilled before the column is installed. Removed the pedal box three times I think, anyway made a lot of progress.
