    Time to paint the wheels

With winter upon us and getting ready to disassemble the car for painting I decided to start with the wheels and go from silver to white. Made 2 stands to hold the wheels that allowed me to spin them while shooting.
I believe the white wheels change the looks for better...I know.... it's going to be hell keeping them clean..

    Wheels look great.

You have access to an actual paint both. I'm so jealous I've always had to make do with my garage. Someday I'd like to shoot a car in a real booth with a down draft system and heating system.

Jet you have me thinking... was going to go black on my wheels (white car like yours). I painted them with a bronze color but Jan doesn't like it at all - want black. Your wheels look great, may have to get her to see them in the flesh. Did you ever find a super smooth white like on your steering wheel?

Hey Art, yes I did, got as close as I could using Deltron PPG 1684 pure white base coat, the car will get the same treatment in a couple of weeks. Whenever you're ready we can get them done in any color the person holding the purse wants them to be...
Even though the car is up on blocks now and a big gap between tire and fender I think this picture really shows the big change
