California Street Legal Requirements for MK4 Roadster
I have ordered my MK4 Roadster Kit and a 306 c.i. fuel-injected engine with transmission. Starting my research into DMV Form SB100 and noticed that they are requiring smog certification to be able to be registered. Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to what I should be doing in this regard. I believe there was a consensus last time I posted that I don't need catalytic converters, but is there anything else I should start looking into?
Thanks in advance

Closed loop PCV system. That's all that's required by BAR.

Congrats on your order, as EZ$ mentioned not much required other than closed loop PCV system (with PCV rated hoses) very simple. CA allows 500 SB100 registrations per year, It is not a super easy process to go through, make sure and take pics of you building the car they will want to see them. Took me about 4 months to complete and some up to one year. And your car will be titled a 2021 (or newer for your build) MK4 Roadster, just got my reg fees for this year $580 with a custom plate. Gotta love CA
