It was an FFR 33, on the commercials that were running during the BJ auction. Just a quick flash in a montage plugging the new season.
Thanks
Jeff
Well if he hadn't said all those mean things and provoked me I wouldn't have had to shoot him with the rivet gun. Whoops I've said too much....
Just saw the preview. That was neither Erik nor Erik. In fact there was no footage of us shown at all.
Erik
I saw the commercial and kept wondering if any of those guys were FFR guys, now I have to see it again and look for the bloody face... hmmmmm

The bleeding guy is our man Kyle!!! March 7th episode!
I am one of those Car Nuts that has the TV set on Speed, Modern Marvels or Cash Cab during my 10 hour days working on Factory Five Hot Rods.No Oprah or Judge Judy! Just good Ol Red Neck TV!
During the last week Jimmy Shine "stage name,Ya Think" has been interviewed by the Speed reporters at Daytona a half dozen times. They have stated that this seasons episodes were all about Muscle cars! I never thought that a FF33 was considered a Muscle Car! I watched the 1st episode Friday night hopping to be entertained with the "Build" and it's cast of characters. What I came away with is this.
The two "Teams" consisting of guy's that work together everyday from a Hot Rod shop were given 2 equal cars that were primed and trim removed and by the time they started the 48 hour clock the engines were taken out in the Engine Challenge. The clock started and they proceeded to install an engine and trans, interior, aftermarket wheels & tires and what ever accessories and body mods they choose.Oh Yeh between these duties they did a Custom Paint Job!
After winning a welding challenge the loosing team got an additional hour and still failed to finish the interior or suspension!
The Eastcoast and Westcoast band of Gypsy's that have never worked together "Completely" assembled two Factory Five 33 Hot Rods in 49 Hours! Pretty Dam Amazing!!! Can't Wait to see if we entertain you!

This season is soooo much better than last season, just because the "All Stars" aren't there any more.
I'm really looking forward to watching the '33 build, so I can see you guys at work. I've only met Eric, but have read many, many posts from (and about) the rest of you, and seen your work in pictures.
I had a problem with my first recording of the first show, because some stupid left-turn-only race ran 30 minutes long. So I re-recorded it again this weekend, just so I could watch the second half of the show.
I think with better time management the Red team could have one, they just ran out of time and never finished the car. Needing help to get it started didn't help, either.
Now I wish the '33 build would hurry up and air!
One thing is for sure, the West crushed the East in the drinking and loudness category at dinner that night. We were so loud, the tables around us started emptying out! BTW, Jimmy Shine is actually Jimmy Falschlehner and he is more "affectionately" know by his good friends here in SoCal as "A**hole Jim." I found him to be a very hard guy to talk to. There was this thing where he'd raise a brow at you while you talk as if he wasn't buying off on you or your what you're talking about. Or maybe he just does that because he's such a big star around here and he gets people trying to talk to him all the time. Anyway, the TV persona he puts on is pretty overdone and hilarious but he seemed like an OK guy. Or maybe he's just bummed because his real name is Falschlehner...
I agree that the new format is much better. The all star characters were really overcooked and after speaking to Rich Evans at SEMA is was really apparent. Overall it was a great experience. The producers and production team were really cool and it was so much fun putting our own touch onto car and the show. Mostly, I really enjoyed getting the know the East Coast guys. Except Stack, he's a Blue putz.

I think this season is much better than last. Another show tonight at 6pm Pacific time. I had a great time with all of the guys on both teams. The production team and the microphone girl were fun to work with. I know our show will shine over these others! Speeking of the drinking night, "Nothing can top Dan and his foot on the bar"
Cheers,
John

I"m watching the first 2012 episode of Car Warriors that I have seen right now. The Chevy Chevelle episode. The show is much better without the "All Stars" and their stupid antics.. It seems to be much more about building cars and as a result is a much better show! Right now there's a guy on the show explaining how to install a torque converter. PERFECT! Looking forward to the 33 FFR Hot Rod episode!
