    Pics of outside coolant tubes

I know the GTM forum isn't very active anymore, but....

If anyone seeing this did the outside the frame coolant tubes, post up pics of your setup! Would like to see some different routing ideas.

Calling Crash here too.... as I understand he pioneered this mod.

My chassis is the 818 and I have installed a Ferrari Dino replica body. The Dino body mounts higher than the 818 giving me the opportunity to run the coolant tubes below the rocker panels.
The hose bibs come up into the body near the F & R wheel wells. This made routing into the front compartment neater and opened up the footwells. Obviously better heat exchange and less heat into the interior. I would have used finned extrusions but could not find that configuration. I welded mount bosses and drains into the bottom of the tubes.
Semi gloss black makes them less obvious.

You probably have Gen I. Mine is Gen II, so it's slightly different. (Idea inspired by Crash)

I'm running them just inside the rear aluminum firewalls, in enclosed insulated aluminum housings. It's the most direct path from and to the water pump.

Any concern with the passenger side going right under the fuel tank? Or do you plan on insulating it with something?
