I just ordered a few protective pads (different sizes) from this place. http://www.heelpadwarehouse.com/heel-pads/ I don't have them yet, so no review to share. I thought at less than $2 a piece, I'll experiment.
If Brute Force doesn't work, you're not using enough of it.
