    Chris’ Daytona Build

I have ordered a Type 65 Complete Kit and will start detailing some work and parts obtained before the kit arrives. This will be significantly different than my previous MK4 Cobra base kit build.

Spec’d out kit with IRS rear end, TKX transmission, hydraulic clutch and Gen 3 Coyote running gear. I upgraded to the Wilwood brakes in red, Coyote KRC power steering kit, heat/defrost/air conditioning, wipers, side windows and aero vents.

Very excited about this build and applying lessons learned and different options based upon driving and building my MK4. Since building my MK4, I’ve gotten proficient at TIG welding, have obtained a CNC plasma table as well as a 3D printer and hope to utilize these resources during the Daytona build.
