    Anyone near Park Ridge NJ?

I've just started a new 6 week assignment in Park Ridge NJ and am wondering if anyone is in this area? I'd like to take one weekend and get down to NYC or hang out in north NJ. Any good car shows or other fun stuff to do nearby?

    TIA,

David, a couple guys in that area, I am about an hour west, but in the city just about every day. (except weekends)

We also have a pretty good group of guys who get together for breakfast once a month in Chester, about an hour from where you will be, second Sunday of the month.

Scott, so it looks like I just missed this month's meeting?

I'll be here for 6 weeks and will plan to stay at least one weekend so I can sightsee NYC and visit some online friends. I might even jet up to Wareham and visit my car's birthplace

Let me know if any gatherings crop up!

Weather permitting every Friday evening in the summer there is a cruise night in Somerville on Main Street.

I live about 40-45 minutes from Park Ridge. You are welcome to come over.

Thanks guys, I'll let you know what my schedule is like starting next week. I don't have a car this week so I'm a bit stuck.

Perhaps the 2nd week of September I'll stay the weekend and meet up with everyone.

BTW \it was raining cats and dogs when I got her Sunday but today the weather is fantastic! NJ has some very nice scenary; not what I was expecting at all!

North Jersey is beautiful, but we get a bad rap for the scenes of the Parkway everyone is used to seeing in movies. For a small state I think NJ is pretty cool in terms of diversity. My wife grew up in South Jersey where it is a lot of flat farmland, she loves the hills and mountains up by us, but is still getting used to them and that this is Jersey as well.

Olli, isn't there a car show / cruise night in Boonton every week????
