Radiator aluminum fitting
I'm test fitting the radiator aluminum panels and fender splash panels with the body on (un painted).
Can I permanently mount the radiator side aluminum pieces, knowing the body will need to come on and off a few more times or do those need to stay off until the body is on for the last time?

There's no reason to permanently mount the radiator side panels and fender splash panels until the body is on for the last time. It will be tough to get the body on with the elephant ears in place. If you want them on and plan to run for a period with the raw body, you can drill the rivets and remove the panels when you decide to take the body off for paint.

I figured the splash panels and radiator front piece had to go on after final body mount but was curious about the radiator side pieces. Mainly because I am passing oil cooler lines through those side pieces. I can do it either way but working on the oil cooler lines is easier with the body off.

Actually it is possible to keep the panels in place you just need more people to help guide the body on and off while pushing the panels out of the way.
Whatever you do, don't transport the chassis this way! (Don't ask me how I know)
I usually hold the nose on with clecos until I'm in final assembly but I believe it han be in place while loading and unloading the body.
