WTB (or make): Coyote Engine Hoist "Brackets"
Hey all...
So I'm getting ready to mate my Coyote to my T56 and it occurred to me I have no good points to grab the Coyote from. I noticed there are some CHUNKY mounts rear of engine and on the cylinder head. Same locations I've seen some brackets bolted on several builds.
So my question: Did you guys MAKE these brackets, or are they available somewhere?
I cannot find them anywhere and am not comfortable damaging my engine, lol. They appear too thick for me to make and drill, but maybe I'm missing something.
IF you have them and want to lend OR sell them to me, I'll take them! PM ME! If you lend them, I'll cover all costs and throw some cash your way to make it worth while.
Thanks in advance!
Please excuse my crude reference drawing!

I followed wareaglescott's approach, making them out of metal plate from McMaster. Heat the rear one with a torch (or not, like I did) and beat it to the approximate bend you're looking for. Carbon steel is easy to drill, just lube properly.
Mk4 #8861 Complete kit. Delivered: 27 Apr 2016, currently a roller.
Gen-2 Coyote, clutch, TKO600, midshift, and solid axle from Forte. Many pieces from Breeze and Replicarparts.

I made my own for #8674. Worked "ok" but for my Coupe build, bought these: https://tdmotion.com/product/coyote-...lift-brackets/. Nice parts and a big improvement. Attach to the factory lift locations. Kind of similar to what used to be available from Ford early in the Coyote timeline, but then they stopped supplying them.

I also bought the brackets that Paul linked above. Well made, delivered promptly and not too pricey IMHO. Keith

I used Pauls instructions to make mine. They are in my build thread linked in my signature. There is an index in post 1 that will show the proper post.

I agree "ok" is an accurate description of how the homemade versions work. If I had to pull my engine again, I'd pop the $80 for the ones Paul linked. They should make a nice improvement in clearance and ability to position the engine where you want.

Made my own out of some HD angle iron and had them welded up. Worked great, as I installed the motor and trans myself on my birthday last year. Had the set in and out several times for clearance checking, etc...
Though $80 would have saved me some of that valuable thing called "time".
