Papa: For me, blue just "jumps" off anything and catches my eye. That particular blue is even better. I say if you like it, go with it!
FFR MK4 #8317, 393 Cleveland, Lunati VooDoo solid roller, CHI 3V heads and intake, TKO 600, Std roadster seats, 8.8 3.55 diff, 17" Halibrand replica wheels, Ford "Magnetic Metallic", silver ghost stripe. (Sold 10/16/21)
Not really a blue fan. But I like it as shown in the first image on the show floor and that lighting, it looks darker and much more dramatic. Then the outdoor images don't work as well for me.
Colors change with the light source. What you like under one may not fly under another. For me, the only light that matters is sunlight.

Dave-
Spectacular color on a spectacular car! That blue would look awesome!
Now, the 63 split window has been my favorite car since I was old enough to have a favorite car...
But yeah, that blue would look great on your Roadster! But, you don't need my opinion; do what makes you happy and what you like.
But, please let us know what you choose, and post some pics when she is done.
Regards,
Steve
Blue With No Stripes!
Not doing stripes lets the lines of the body and the body work shine.
Think about it, there are no seams on this car except when you bolt or rivet on the scoop.
Why mess it up with stripes or the hood scoop.
Less Is More & Clean Is Mean!
Good Luck From The Dark-Dart Side!

StingRay looks very good. That said I am solidly in the Not Another Blue One camp. Bottom lines is your money, your car, your choice.

I think it's an awesome blue and would look great on your car. I like cars with and without stripes, so I think it works either way. I agree there are a lot of blue cars out there, but it seems like the blue ones really get my heart pumping when I see one. I'm leaning towards blue on mine too, just light blue.

You can't go wrong with that blue. Somebody went very wrong with those wheels however!
www.breezeautomotive.com 2005 FFR Mk3 Roadster, 302/340hp, MassFlo EFI, Breeze Pulleys, T5, Aluminum Flywheel, 3-link rear with Torsen Diff and 3.27:1 gears, Power Steering, Breeze Front Sway Bar, SN-95 Spindles with outboard SAI Mod, Breeze Battery Mount, QA1 Externally Adjustable Shocks, Quick Release Steering Wheel, Vintage Race seats, GM Arctic White, Sky Blue Scoop, Hidden Hinges, Billet Aluminum Side-view Mirrors, 2,183lbs wet. 1967 Mustang Fastback, Dark Moss Green, black interior, '67 14" styled steel wheels, 2000 Explorer 302 w 5.0 Cam, Quickfuel 450 CFM, 289 Hi-Po Dual exhaust, C4, lowering springs w Shelby drop.
As many have already said, go with what makes you happy. I'm not a big restomod fan so I stuck with a vintage color (blue, but light blue).
That's a nice color and will probably look great.
I like blue, one of those JAC guys I guess...

I like a much darker blue, like the C-2 Corvette "Daytona Midnight Blue" or the C-5 "Navy Blue Metallic".
Thanks to everyone for participating in the poll and for providing your feedback both for and against. I'm still undecided. I'm sure the color would look great on the car, but not sure I'd be happy with it in the long run. Trendy paint colors tend to fade in popularity with time. Jeff has assured me I'm not "abnormal", and that I have time to sort this out in my mind before he's ready to put color on the car.

Dave, I have actually seen this color in person, and I agree with what someone else mentioned about it showing as lighter outside in sunlight. It also has a bit more metallic in it than I like but that is a personal taste thing. Truthfully, the color is beautiful albeit a little candy-ish which right now seems to be the trend. One way or the other, it's hard to go wrong and your personal taste is all that matters. Regarding the stripe, I think if you chose exactly the right white, and there are millions of those, the contrast would look striking. Looks like I'm in the minority on that. Joel
It's a beautiful color and similar to one that we considered too. The Super Snake

That blue is beautiful. You may want to look at the blue on the new NSX. Saw one a couple weeks ago at our local cars and coffee. It was incredible. Always go with what YOU want.
I know it will look good. I'll admire it on your car, but I've decided on another color for mine.
How much option for a JAC.
Dave,
Love the color! When are you shipping your car off to get painted?
