This is a pretty well known car that has been used for attending the London Cobra Show, leading Hoosier Cobra Club cruises, for doing autocross, track days and even a few quarter mile passes. It takes my wife for ice cream on nice summer evenings and carries me to the grocery store, hardware store and Lowes or about anywhere else I need to go. It's even been in 3 car shows and brought home trophies! It's racked up about 25,000 miles doing those things, although over the past several years that's been limited to about 5-600 per year due to lack of time. Here's the basics:
DRIVETRAIN
Totally rebuilt 5.0 Windsor with TRW forged pistons topped off with Trick Flow top end featuring Twisted wedge heads with upgraded valve springs. TFS Stage 1 roller cam, double roller timing chain and Ford Racing rockers, TFS pushrods and roller rockers. Trick Flow Street Burner intake, 24# injectors, 70mm throttle body, ProM 75 mm meter and Walbro 255 lph pump. Exhaust is through FFR/Hooker long tube headers into the side pipes.
Transmission is a Tremec "World Class" T-5 5 speed coupled with a Ford Racing "King Cobra" clutch and pressure plate package..
Rear end is a Ford 8.8 that was rebuilt with all new bearings, a Ford Racing 3.55 ratio ring & pinion and new limited slip clutch/spring packs as well as new Yukon 5 lug axles.
CHASSIS & BRAKES
Front suspension was recently (May of 2024) upgraded to the Mk4 configuration allowing relocation of the upper control arms and a change to the FFR proprietary spindles. New ball joints were installed and the lower control arms' poly bushings were upgraded to spherical bearings. It uses Koni 30 Series adjustable coilovers with 750# springs.
Rear suspension is Factory Five's 3 link setup with Koni 30 series adjustable coilovers with 500# springs. The rear lower control arms were recently (May 2024) upgraded to Breeze Automotive adjustable arms with rod ends and an offset to bring them to parallel.
The car has hydraulic power steering and features a Heidt's adjustable valve which allows for variable levels of assist.
Brakes were also upgraded in May 2024 and are vacuum assisted. Fronts use the big 13" rotors and twin piston calipers. Rears are the 11.65" rotor Cobra setup. A new booster and a .9375" bore 1994/1995 Mustang Cobra master cylinder was installed.
The car is presently on Toyo R888R tires; 275/40-17 front and 315/35-17 rear mounted on 9" (F) and 10.5" (R) rims.
BODY & INTERIOR, ETC.
Body is satin black DP90 epoxy with gloss black stripes. Interior is fully insulated and carpeted. It has one of the original FFR carbon fiber dashboards with Autometer UltraLite gauges. Seats are the FFR Street Performer highbacks (same as Cobra Clubmans). Trunk is carpeted with a drop box; battery is under the upper trunk floor with a hinged access cover.
The car is registered and titled in Indiana as a "1965 Factory Five Racing FFR65". Since it has been registered continuously for over 15 years it would be eligible for importation into Canada.
Negotiations will start at $35,000. Shoot me a Private Message and I can send more info, hundreds of photos and we'll exchange contact information.

Two hours after posting it outside of the forum I received funds via a wire transfer. New owners came to meet it in person this morning and it is bound for Utah.
The conspiracy theorist in me wants to believe that something new and amazing is coming from FFR and you're going to be the first to build one. Why else would you be selling this car?!
Am I right?! AM I RIGHT?!?!?!

I came close to pulling the trigger on a RCR40, would have cost everything I had just to get into the kit but the resale is attractive. In the spirit of completely highjacking this thread I agree that seems like the logical thing. Can't wait to see what Jeff does with it.
Also congrats on the sale and whoever got it was given an incredible deal.
I’m not a betting man, nor do I have a crystal ball, but if I was to take a guess… I would suspect that Jeff has a pearl or diamond ticket for a 30th Anniversary Roadster? I mean, I’m pretty good at connecting dots and still watch Columbo. Haha. Just don’t ask me for the lotto numbers! I think we’re all waiting to see what your next project will be? All the best Jeff!
