What matters is the post-turbo post-IC temp, as it's entering the engine. The MAF gives roughly ambient temps.

As mentioned above, the only spot is on an end tank or piece of piping between IC and throttle body.

We tapped both end tanks of our AWIC and use a pre and post IC gauge. The Speed Density temp sensor is right next to the post-IC one.
Andrew, did you find a clean display unit to mount in the car or do you just use something that you connect for testing only? I need to do some testing on my AAIC solution
