    Tko 600 speed plug

Ordered a plug for the side of my tko, it did not come with a screw. Anyone know the screw size and pitch? Car is sitting on the ground and would be really hard to figure out at this point....

I have the TKO, but it is installed and buried in the car. I would suggest a call to Tremec.

I just found one in my hardware bin that fit. I'm going to guess it was a 5/16, but cant say if it was 18 or 24 tpi. If nobody answers by this afternoon, I'll pop the bolt out n let ya know.

I've purchased them from Mike Forte, and they came with a machine screw. You could call him and ask. 5/16 sounds right, and don't believe it's a fine pitch. Couldn't find any documentation that gives the thread size. Mine too is installed and buried. Here's a picture of one FWIW: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Tremec...ns,107161.html

I use one of these almost every day I work on the car. Super handy

Well... The Tremec manual shows a part no. of 99796-0616, but it doesn't give the spec. Go figure.
