If we didn't think we could win this race we wouldn't show up. It costs roughly $50,000 for us to run this race. JUST this one race.
We have been running two series all year and our focus is always on making the FFR PDG GTM faster and more reliable for the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The car is now doing 150 MPH down the front straight and cornering speeds have increased significantly. 761 laps is the most ever covered by anyone at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill and was achieved by a GT3 Cup Porsche in 2009. We have the potential, with our current strategy, to run 765 laps. This race has a big luck factor involved, but with our strategy and a bit of luck, we are hoping to do very well this year. Rain is usually very good for us as the FFR PDG GTM is so well balanced, and there is a 50% chance of rain for the start of this race.
Best of luck guys and gals!!

Great Job Team PDG ! WAY TO CONSISTENTLY HANG IN THERE !!
Thanks everybody!
The video production this year was WAY better than in the past. They tried to tell the entire story instead of just from a couple teams perspective. What you all didn't know, and I didn't either until I showed up at the track, was that we had our own live feed from inside the car going the entire 25 hours. Unfortunately the link info was not available before the race and I was too busy to do anything Friday when we found out we would carry the equipment on board. There might be a replay or maybe highlights available, I don't know, but it would be on https://live.racecast.me/. I think the one that pops up there is last years and they haven't put this years up for replay yet, but if it gets posted, it will be there.
We had a major break through this weekend as I have been trying to get this car over 150 MPH and under 1:50.00 lap times since pretty much when I started with PDG. While we had broken the 150 MPH marker quite a while ago, we just this weekend broke the 1:50 laptime barrier in qualifying with a 1:49.223. That was a huge milestone for us.
More later...work is calling.
