20th Anniversary build- Always more to do.

I have worked on the car almost every day. Small details that just could get done while I wait for a few more parts to show up. Did the panels behind the door frame where there was a gap. Elephant ears are on with bulb seal. Radiator shroud needed some attention and I stuck a piece of leftover powder coated aluminum over the rivets holding on the lower shroud and behind the holes for the oil cooler tubes. Couldn't come up with any thing else satisfactory to plug them. Thought about making a whole new piece but then it would be back to the powder coater and more time. My hood was rolling the front d seal up and called Jeff Miller which he had an answer to. "Just trim the seal back to the hinges as nothing is sealed really anyway with the hood scoop and side louvers present". So I did and it works perfect. I actually like the cleaner look up front when the hood is open. Just have to finish up these wheel wells. I finally found the material I was looking for to make some removable half liners. I'm going with another Jeff idea as the whole wheel wells don't need to be covered, just the back half. I'm using a heat moldable material inside the wells with monstaliner over the top. They should be totally removable. I had to order more of the stuff so should get it tomorrow and apply the bed liner on Thursday or Friday. My car should be on the deck by the weekend and ready for the next step- registration and licensing.
